Zachary Behrmann - CEO/Designer/Strategist

Zachary Behrmann is a multidisciplinary creative with a unique ability to merge design, strategy, and storytelling. A double major in Graphic Design and Advertising Design from the Savannah College of Art & Design, Zachary spent more than 11 years immersed in New York City’s diverse creative scenes, collaborating with global brands and fast-growing startups. From rebranding Ladders Inc. and boosting user engagement through UX/UI design to producing large-scale campaigns for Major League Soccer and JPMorgan, he built a reputation for delivering innovative, high-impact work that drives results.

 

His New York journey, however, came to an unexpected turn when he was diagnosed with Lyme disease. The experience pushed him to step away from the nonstop city pace and embark on a backpacking journey around the world. Traveling through different cultures deepened his understanding of how design can communicate across borders and taught him new ways to see both people and problems.

 

Although the pandemic temporarily anchored him in Puerto Rico, Zachary has since made South Florida his home base. The slower pace has not slowed his work ethic or creativity—in fact, it has fueled his focus. His passion for generating ideas and finding solutions remains unwavering, matched by his ability to guide clients seamlessly from big-picture vision to detailed execution.

 

Most recently, Zachary completed the prestigious 10-week Strategic Planning Bootcamp at Miami Ad School and receiving the Parkin Empathy Award Scholarship. This experience further sharpened his skills in branding, strategy, and empathy-driven design.

 

At Hiami, Zachary has found a creative partner in founder Patrick Hennessy. The two share an extraordinary ability to communicate, understand, and build on each other’s ideas—a true powerhouse duo whose combined vision and skills elevate the brand beyond the expected.

 

With over a decade of professional work in New York, global travels that shaped his worldview, and recent strategic training in Miami, Zachary is uniquely prepared to build Hiami into a brand that challenges convention. His journey has prepared him to create a disruptor—not just in one market, but across multiple verticals—by blending design excellence with cultural insight, strategy, and fearless creativity.
